Founded in 2005 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Acwa, Acwa Operations has grown into a global leader in the operations and maintenance of power generation, water desalination, and battery storage systems.
Headquartered in Saudi Arabia, we operate across 13 countries,
managing more than 58 GW of power capacity and over 9.3 million m³ of desalinated water every day. We set out to raise the standards of operational excellence and today manage a diverse portfolio that spans solar, wind, combined cycle gas turbines, thermal generation, green hydrogen, and energy storage. Using predictive analytics, digital twins, and centralized monitoring, we enhance performance and ensure reliability across every asset.
Global presence
Our international footprint is supported by Monitoring and Prediction Centers in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with a third underway in Central Asia. These facilities provide round the clock oversight and optimization, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted service.
Acwa Field Services: Maintenance innovation
Through our subsidiary Acwa Field Services (AFS), we provide non OEM maintenance for turbines and generators, offering long-term agreements, outage management, and rapid on site repairs. This approach reduces downtime, restores operations faster, and delivers significant value for customers.
